Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
Sol-Tec is an IT support and technology services company and has a strong commitment to be a responsible business and taking a robust approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. This statement relates to action taken during the financial year of 1st April 2022 – 31st March 2023.
Sol-Tec is committed to the Modern Slavery Act 2015, to ensure that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking within their supply chains or within any supply chains of their service providers. Sol-Tec has an Anti-Slavery Policy in place and it ensures all the necessary steps to the promotion of ethical practices throughout the Company.
As part of Sol-Tec’s due diligence process into modern slavery and human trafficking, a supplier approval process will include a review of controls undertaken by the supplier. The management control required for these suppliers will be regularly monitored.
Sol-Tec is committed to providing the necessary training to their employees to ensure full understanding of the risks of human trafficking and modern slavery.
Sol-Tec will not deal with any Company involved or associated with modern slavery or human trafficking.
The Directors of Sol-Tec take responsibility for implementing and promoting the Anti-Slavery Policy and will review this on an annual basis.
This statement considers and supports the Whistleblowing Policy that the Company currently has in place. Sol-Te cencourages all its employees, customers and other business partners to report any concerns related to the direct activities, or the supply chains of, the organisation. This includes any circumstances that may give rise to an enhanced risk of slavery or human trafficking.
